We cut them as long and roomy as the snug-fit safety standard allows: longer in the body, wider at the waist, easy at the cuffs. More room to move tonight, more months before they’re outgrown.
Go by height, not age. 12–18M: 29–31 in. 18–24M: 31–33 in. 2T–3T: 33–35 in. 3T–4T: 35–38 in. Between sizes? Size up.
Yes. The diaper-ready gusset and wider waistband make room for overnight diapers without pulling.
That’s what they’re made for. Our sleep sacks are sleeveless, so the pajamas are the warm layer underneath, and the flat seams mean nothing bunches under the zip.
US rules (CPSC) say kids’ sleepwear has to be snug-fitting or treated with flame retardants. We chose snug, so there’s nothing on the fabric but fabric.
Machine wash cold, inside out, and tumble dry low. A mesh laundry bag keeps them looking new longer.
Modal is smoother and more substantial than most bamboo-based pajamas, which can feel thin and flimsy. It has a silky feel and breathability similar to bamboo but holds its shape and softness better over time.
